Aurora

Problem
Aurora Lithium is a new industrial company resulting from a joint venture between Galp and Northvolt. Its scope of activity is the conversion and processing of lithium for automotive batteries. With production scheduled to begin in 2026, the new unit will be one of the largest lithium conversion plants in Europe. For this purpose, a manufacturing unit is being built from scratch in Portugal and a new brand and visual identity is needed that should confirm what Aurora Lithium aims for: • Be specialised in lithium processing and conversion • Be technologically advanced (bold and innovative) • Be committed to sustainability • Be solid and agile at the same time (as reliable as fast-moving).

solution
Aurora Lithium’s visual identity translates the convergence between industry and nature, technology and sustainability, the core pillars of its positioning. Through a graphic language based on circular and fluid shapes, inspired by the continuous cycle of resources and energy, the brand expresses transformation: from raw lithium to the power that drives the future. This visual element builds consistency and recognition, while also conveying movement, agility, and innovation. The contrast between industrial and natural imagery reinforces Aurora Lithium’s unique proposition: a highly technological operation that works in balance with the environment. The green color palette, combined with black, communicates sustainability, sophistication, and industrial strength.
